Our next GCE catch-up will take place at The White Swan on: Monday 24th August, from 7pm

There is no formal agenda, and you are very welcome to drop in for a drink and a conversation, whether or not you have anything specific you would like to raise.

Swan Fest

The fourth edition of Swan Fest takes place on: Saturday 15th August

There will be live music from talented local performers in the beer garden, running from early afternoon until late. It promises to be another excellent day, and we hope many members and local residents will come along to support it.

Annual General Meeting – save the date

Our 2026 Annual General Meeting is scheduled for: Tuesday 22nd September at 7pm, Gressenhall Reading Room

Further details and formal papers will follow nearer the time, but please save the date.

We currently have two co-opted trustees supporting the committee, and we would warmly welcome a conversation with any member who may be interested in becoming more involved in the society, whether as a future trustee or in another supporting capacity.

There has been a pub on Gressenhall Green for more than 250 years, but in 2018 last orders were called and the doors closed.

With the threat of the site being redeveloped for housing, the village launched a campaign to save the pub and founded Gressenhall Community Enterprise.  Thanks to 430 investors buying community shares, the pub was purchased and in February 2021, its transformation began.

After thousands of hours of generosity, commitment, hard work, determination and faith from volunteers and numerous local suppliers, the doors of The White Swan reopened as a community owned, professionally run pub in May 2022. Everywhere you look there are examples of donated time, materials, skills and love from local people.

We hope you enjoy special moments at our pub with friends, family and the community.
