Two incidents of car break in, in Gressenhall (Park Road & Swan Drive) have been reported to me in the last couple of days. One incident involved the theft of a handbag and contents from a vehicle parked outside the home and the other was an attempted break in.

It would seem that the night time opportunists are on the prowl again so please ensure you take your valuables out of your vehicles and that the vehicle is securely locked. Should you have to leave items in the vehicle ensure they are out of sight either locked in the glove box or secured in the boot.

If you see anyone prowling around in a suspicious manner report it to the police on 101 or for an actual attempt 999.

Remember if good people ignore what is going on it will only encourage further activity. To fight crime and deter criminals the police need us as much as we need them!
